What are TIRF REMS medications?
The TIRF REMS was the first approved shared system REMS for drugs in the opioid class. TIRF medicines are used to manage breakthrough pain in cancer patients who are already receiving and who are tolerant to around-the-clock opioid therapy for their underlying persistent cancer pain.
